Blog #16 Vacation and Bullying Project

Good day cadets. Here's hoping that you are enjoying your week off from school. To finish your school/class project on Bullying, remember that your poster must be at least 2 feet x 3 feet and must use facts from the internet as well as facts from our class. You may work with a fellow cadet from the other LET1 class but make sure that you put both of your names on the project to get full credit for your work. You may also turn in a Project that is all of your own work but please try to team up with another cadet that you know will work with you. Either way, please post your sites/URL's where you found your information to our site and remember to comment on your peer's work. I am excited and look forward to seeing your presentation in class when you turn in your work. Enjoy this week off and try not to get to cold, have fun and see you next Monday when you return to class. Extra credit if you can take a picture of your work and post it to our blog as well.

Blog #15 Bullying and what you can do...

Welcome back to the second semester of JROTC.  We are getting ready for our Honor Unit Inspection and continuing on with our lesson so we will finish this week on "Bullying" and move into how our brain works.  You task is to watch the following video and once you have completed it, you must go out and do something positive for another student in the school that might be being bullied, show your support for them. Once you have done this selfless act, you must come back and post your experience online and detail how it made you feel. You must then post a story or video relating for paying forward acts of kindness and lastly you must comment on one of your peers.  I DARE YOU TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
