We are starting to learn about bullying and the epidemic that is occurring in the United States. Facts and figures bear out that at least 25% of the students in school have been bullied during the education. There are many more facts and stories that bare out the terrible actions and consequences of bullying. Your task this week is to find a story or video that is related to Bullying and to make sure that you give your opinion about the story. Post your link to the video/story and lastly to post feedback on at least one of your own peers work. Remember that your feedback should be positive if possible. I myself was bullied before especially in public by a certain race. I mean its not uncommon for me or my ethnicity to be dealt with side comments.

I can also relate to this because I have been made fun of for being white. It's not really a joke, as people try to play it off so they don't come off as dramatic, it actually hurts people because you are making fun of the type of person they are.

I really like your video its a social experiment to see how people will react, many people take a different approach than others like moving her away from the bully,telling the bully to stop but the sad thing is some don't say anything at all and stand as bystanders.

i think they only do those things because they are insecure themselves and need something to release all the pain and anger they have inside them. but also they may bully because they are being bulllied themselves or were previously bullied

Even though finally you realize that you are wrong, you want to apologize, but there is no chance for you to apologize. We are all human beings, we are all equal, we shouldn't treat someone unfair or unrespectfully just because they are different or they are weaker. A word that encourage is always better than a word that hurts. Let being a better citizens.

I find it horrible that this 13 year old child who has his whole life ahead of him would be pushed to taking his own live to find peace from bullying, its really sad.

My opinion on this video is that this is sad point blank. This girl has gone through so much that shes tried self harm and thats not right because no one should feel like they have to inflict harm on their selves because a bully feels the need to let their insecurities out on someone else.

ReplyDeleteI love this video because it's so meaningful and so inspiring. It shows the pain the victim goes through because they are being bully. It shows how broken and depress someone could get and how the impact it has on them. It also shows that it's not only in school but also at home through social media. It shows how bullying could end someone's life. Some people take revenge and other commit suicide. It shows the impact it has on the victim's parents. Some parents don't notice it until it's too late. Bullying is no joke. If you see someone being bully or if you're being bully , speak up because silences hurts.

i chose this video because it shows strength coming from the person being bullied. i think that you should always go get a teacher or adult when being bullied but in this boys case he was being physically abbused so he had every right to defend himself even if that mean fighting back.
