First Aid comes in all shapes and sizes. From life saving to assisting to make a call, it can all make a difference. Your task this week is to research for a new medical breakthrough that will help save lives in the future and if possible, right now. The sky is the limit and I know how well you can research. ReplyDeletethis video shows the importance of how crucial it is when someone does not know first aid and how accidents can result in people dying every day. This video shows how important cancer is but it turns out that it proves that people die from lack of first aid more than cancer everyday.

ReplyDeleteFor my researched medical breakthrough I chose fine-tuning genes. Fine tuning genes can allow scientist to correct or fix DNA. As you would know, many mutations, as well as disorders can occur during the exchange of DNA during birth. According to http://www.aarp.org/health/conditions-treatments/info-2015/top-medical-breakthroughs.html gene-tuning was recently used to erase leukemia in a British child through gene edited immune cells.

I think it's great that there would be an hiv vaccine because a lot of people around the world catch hiv that permanently change their lives in a negative way. The first human head transplant is pretty amazing , it's amazing how doctors would be able to do that.
