Cadets, this is a little extra work for this week to make sure that you keep up with the Presidential Race that is starting to heat up on both sides. This Wednesday evening is the 3rd Republican Debate and as there will be less candidates, hopefully they will get into more in depth answers to the questions that they are asked. Watch the debate on CNN and post which candidate you think won overall. Support your opinion with at least 2 facts that support their debate information and comment on at least one of your peer's opinions as well. I realize that most of you are not Republicans but remember, to win a war against your adversary you must know your opponent very well. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your results.

Blog #4 To Be or Not To Be, is Gun Control a Violation of the Constitution
Good morning cadets. Your task this week is to state your position on Gun Control and use part of the information from the Democratic Debate link that is posted below to support you position. One you have posted your own position, you must then find an article or video online that defends/supports your position and post it to your website. The last thing as always is to comment on your peers work and make sure that it is a positive critique of their work. Good luck and I hope you enjoy this assignment.

Blog #3 Which political party do you belong to?
Good morning cadets. As we have discussed in class,
You must select which political party you think that you
Belong to. You must explain your choice and post a
political add or website that represents your candidate.
After you have completed this task, make sure you watch
the debates for the Democrats. Explain which candidate you
thought won and what you liked about their plans for America.
The last thing you have to do is post your opinion about one
of your peer's work and you will be finished. I look forward to
Reading your posts and talking about this in class on Wednesday.

Blog #2 News on the Internet and the Truth
Good morning again cadets and great job on your first assignment. Since we are studying about the Cadet Creed and remembering to not "Lie Cheat, or Steal", your task this week is to read/listen to the following clips and post your opinions. Remember that this information was being used as facts by a Presidential Candidate and also posted on the Internet so it must be true? Right? After you have posted your opinion, search for a similar story that doesn't tell the whole truth and post the URL to our site along with your comments on one of your peers work. Once you have completed these 3 tasks, you will be eligable for your full grade. Here is the link to NPR and I hope you enjoy this assignment.
