Blog #6 Which Republican was the winner of this weeks Debate?

Cadets, this is a little extra work for this week to make sure that you keep up with the Presidential Race that is starting to heat up on both sides.  This Wednesday evening is the 3rd Republican Debate and as there will be less candidates, hopefully they will get into more in depth answers to the questions that they are asked. Watch the debate on CNN and post which candidate you think won overall. Support your opinion with at least 2 facts that support their debate information and comment on at least one of your peer's opinions as well. I realize that most of you are not Republicans but remember, to win a war against your adversary you must know your opponent very well. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your results.

I watched a good portion of debate and I was a total mess, the questions were random, and to be honest the winners of this race are the Democrat candidates.

I agree on your terms of how the debate was a mess. The questions were out of line and honestly, the moderators seemed a bit bias towards the democrats over the republicans.

I disagree. I believe the Republican Party has a very good chance at winning the presidential race due to many factors going on in the world; including problems with foreign affairs and ISIS.

i agree with lee on how the debate was biased because the people asking the questions let others speak more than others. also they didnt let some candidates answer the question.i also agree with how they were biased towards the democrats. also the moderators were asking random questions and were always interrupting the candidates in the middle of them answering the questions they just asked them.

While I did not watch all of the debate, the parts that I did watch included questions towards mostly Donald Trump. However I do believe that Jeb Bush had won or at least did the best over the course of the debate. This would be because of his counterclaims towards other Republicans when it was there turn to speak. I also like his idea of more money for the middle class at around 1 hour an 11 minutes into the debate.

I agree with the fact that this debate was a mess. Most of the people opinionated with the democrats over the republicans which isn't fair. This race is supposed to be played fair

I believe that John Kasich did the best because he thought and rebutted against other arguments while keeping lower and middle class in mind.

  7. I only watched the first group of the debate, and in my honest opinion, I believe that Governor Pataki won. I fully stand with his beliefs on the economy to keep corporate tax, but shrink it and with his belief or being innovative, to create more efficient forms of energy instead of factories.

  9. Although I managed to see some parts of the debate I agree that this debate felt a little different than past ones,as some questions were not necessary and I believed that Jeb Bush had done alright as he spoke about the economic issues and about the middle class. _Manuel Pena Let 1 Pd5

In my opinion Jeb Bush had won because he actually claimed things that would help the economy and the people. But to be honest it wasn't such a good enough debate.

Although I was not able to watch the actual debate, I did find a link online to key moments of the debate, as well as a transcript.

In my opinion, I believe Jeb Bush did exceptionally well. He made good points against Rubio, as well as against the Democratic party.

i really dont know who i believe won because while each candidate had great responses to questions but the were also giving bad responses. like john kiscah he was right about how we shouldnt just ship out about 10 milion people back to their countries because then it will be splitting up families and many companies will be losing workers. i totally thought that donald trumps proposal to build a wall as a border near mexico was totally wrong because once they start building people who want to go to the U.S.A cant because theyll either give them a hard time at the border to make them U,S citizens or theyll make them pay a ridiculous amount of money to get thier papers to make them legal U.S citizens. also the debate was a mess since they were all interrupting each other and sometimes insults were thrown at eachother. it might've seemed as if they werent doing so but they really were.

  18. The debate was confusing. I didn't get the questions. But I think Jeb Bush might have been the victor. He made really good desisions of what to do for our country
